This Privacy Policy describes how the “QBO Audit Tool” (the “Tool”) processes data when connecting to Intuit QuickBooks Online (“QBO”). The Tool is intended for private/internal use by the operator of the domain qbo.accounts.netuse.co.uk.
1. What data the Tool accesses
When authorised, the Tool may access QBO accounting data such as: chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, bills, payments, customers, suppliers, and reports. The exact data depends on the QBO permissions granted during authorisation.

The Tool accesses QBO data to perform internal auditing and checks of bookkeeping/accounting work, and to generate internal logs/reports.
3. What the Tool stores
The Tool may store:
- OAuth tokens (access/refresh tokens) required to access QBO APIs.
- Connection metadata (such as QBO Company/Realm ID).
- Operational logs (timestamps, success/failure, counts).
- Optional cached copies of retrieved accounting data if enabled by the operator.
4. Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers controlled by the operator of this domain. Access is restricted to authorised personnel.
5. Data sharing
The Tool does not sell data. Data is not shared with third parties except: (a) with Intuit/QBO as required to use QBO APIs, and (b) service providers involved in hosting/operating the Tool where applicable.
6. Retention
Tokens and logs are retained only as long as necessary for operation and auditing. The operator may delete tokens at any time to disconnect the Tool.
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect data, such as access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices
You can revoke access by removing the app connection in QuickBooks Online, which prevents further API access. You can also request deletion of stored tokens by the operator.
